Ivermectin is an exceptionally potent drug which exhibits a broad spectrum activity against parasites in many species. This microtitre plate based EIA kit is used for the screening of ivermectin in tissue and milk samples. The limit of detection is 5 ng/ml. Respective cross-reactivities are: ivermectine 100%, doramectin 14%, eprinomectin 17% and abomectin 13%. The Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) for ivermectin varies from 15-100 ng/kg depending on matrices.
